Lunch & Learn with Rabbi Feld
Wednesdays at 12 pm on ZOOM Everything you wanted to know about Talmud (but were afraid to ask). For over a thousand years, the Talmud has been the source for many of our laws, but also of our stories about who we are. In this course, we’ll learn how to follow Talmudic arguments, rabbinic jargon, and the ins and outs of this core Jewish text. Note: We will use English translations of all sources; no Hebrew or Aramaic knowledge required. Click here to sign up
Social Action / Social Justice
The mission of Family Table is to end hunger in the Greater Boston Jewish community while serving people who need assistance, regardless of religious affiliation.
Family Table fulfills its mission by providing kosher food, creating a caring Jewish connection, and empowering people to make healthy eating a part of their daily lives.
B'nai Tikvah currently is committed to providing boxes of kosher, non-sweetened cereal and cans of kosher, preferably low salt soups to Family Table. If you would like to make a donation of one of these items, please place it in the bin marked for it in the lobby near the Chapel.
If you would like to become a volunteer for Family Table, and help with distribution and deliveries, first contact JF&CS website and fill out the form.
For further information on this and/or other Social Action/Social Justice activities, Please contact: Phyl Hewson Linda Leland, Social Action Co-Chairs
Digital Yahrzeit Board
B’nai Tikvah’s electronic Yahrzeit Board, in our foyer, scrolls through the names of all those we remember during the week of their yahrzeit on the Hebrew calendar beside an image of flickering memorial candle.
To view our digital Yahrzeit board online, purchase a digital plaque, or add a photo or bio to one, please click the image to access the online Yahrzeit Board and form.
